Roaming these waters are some of the finest game fish to ever wear scales: large and smallmouth bass, panfish, northern pike, muskies, and of course, Minnesota’s state fish—the mighty walleye. In fact, the fishing is so good in Otter Tail Country, the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail held a major stop here recently!

Later in the year, as the leaves fall and lakes begin to freeze, hunting becomes a favorite activity. Otter Tail Country offers a wide range of hunting experiences from small game bird like turkey, duck, goose, and pheasant, to big game like bear and whitetail deer.
