Located in the southwestern heart of Otter Tail County, Dalton is known for the annual Threshing Reunion held the first weekend after Labor Day. The event begins on Thursday and ends on Sunday with a community-wide Church service. Come enjoy the Threshing Reunion and revisit piece of this area’s historic past and view the amazing tractors and steam engines.
Dalton also offers the ever so popular Summerfest Celebration held the last weekend in June, rain or shine. Come enjoy the Summerfest Celebration which includes a softball tournament, a city-wide garage sale, the Dalton Queen and Little Queen/Little King coronation and opportunities for area Youth Groups to offer fundraising activities. And don’t forget about the Saturday evening Summerfest Celebration street dance!
