There is no shortage of outdoor fun in Parkers Prairie. Two city parks offer sand volleyball, picnicking shelters, softball fields, horseshoe pits, playground equipment and a community swimming pool and bathhouse. There are hundreds of lakes within a half-hour radius of town. In town, Lake Adley Park provides a public access boat ramp for summer fishing and is also a popular ice fishing spot. Come wrestle with a walleye or break out the waterski for some summer fun on the lake!
Or better yet, ask a friend on a hike up nearby Inspiration Peak! Inspiration Peak, a glacial mountain formed thousands of years ago is Minnesota’s highest point.
