If you want to see the largest prairie chicken on the planet, come visit Rothsay. Rothsay is the Prairie Chicken Capital of Minnesota! The 13 foot high, 18 foot long Prairie Chicken weighs in at 9,000 pounds and was designed by Rothsay’s own artist Art Fosse. Don’t leave Rothsay without taking a few snapshots of planet earth’s largest Prairie Chicken!
Rothsay has plenty to offer everyone, in every season. There is almost always a baseball game or some type of event going on in one of Rothsay’s parks. Rothsay’s mild weather is ideal for hiking, biking and other outdoor activities! In the winter time come enjoy ice fishing on one of the 10,000 lakes in Rothsay’s backyard. Or take the kids to one of the two skiing and snow boarding facilities located just an hour’s drive from Rothsay.
