Vergas

The citizens of Vergas live by the adage: "We are small enough to know you, but big enough to serve you!" The city of Vergas is also known as the “Home of the Loon”, the Minnesota State Bird. The giant 20 foot replica of the MN State Bird is at the center of beautiful City Park erected along the shores of Long Lake.

In Vergas you will find clean blue lakes which are home to many affordable bed & breakfasts and resorts. Each year in August, the city of Vergas is host to “Looney Daze”, a summer city celebration that is fun for the entire family.
